Four Seasons is a must stop by place before coming home from the Sacramento Area. I love their food because of their lunch plates that are served pretty much from beginning to end of their hours. And they can usually make something that's not on their menu, for example one of my visits I asked if they could make me Mongolian Beef Chow Fun and they obliged my order and it was delicious!! Every thing is made to order which is another plus in IMO! The ambience isn't your typical Chinese Restaurant but it's ok as long as the customers service and food are good. Which are checked off with high regards. I definitely recommend Four Seasons if you want something hot fresh and cravin Chinese Food. One thing I noticed is their customer base of College Students who eat there because there are quite a few students every time I go to Four Seasons!! My overall rating for Four Seasons are 4.5s
We landed here on a whim. It was Christmas Eve with not much open. The lady behind the counter was a little loud and direct, which was ok by me, she was busy. But before that when pulled up n we seen it was next door and actually attached to convient store I was nervous. The food was made fresh we waited about 15 mins and it was piping hot. Again we did not expect much so when she served the food in to go containers with plastic forks we were ok with it. We had Beef Chow Fun, plenty of beef, and cooked just right. The Honey Walnut Prawns were lightly coated n nuts on side as to not get soggy. We ordered green beans and asked them to cook them extra well done and they did just that... we will go back when we can get duck. The lady says order in morning and pick up in afternoon or evening or come right at 11:30am
As a follow up review, they are consistent. A hole in the wall counter with a separate entrance next to the minimart, gas station. This time I went an hour before closing and they were in the process of wiping down the chairs and tables so you can at least feel good that they take the cleanliness as important This time I ordered the BBQ pork/Tofu rice plate. Tofu is fresh and soft with the right amount of gravy over the ample rice. A few pieces of BBQ pork. It was enough for my quick stop. Food was cooked to order, not like Panda Express, and was out in less than 10 mins. Another good stop off Interstate 80.
A great hole in the wall with some of the best Chinese food I've had at Davis. I want to start by saying that the service was great. One of the ladies working there was very helpful giving us menu suggestions. She brought the food out very promptly and made sure we had plenty of utensils to serve each other with. The BBQ pork and general chicken were new to me and definitely something I enjoyed. The food was solid so making a return for sure. Only wish they served everyone with all silverware instead of mostly plastic utensils, but that's a minor detail. The place doesn't have many tables to sit at either so keep that in mind if bringing a big group.
Four Seasons is really good place to eat. The food is very tasty and they give good portions, not too small like some other places. Price is also reasonable, not expensive for what you get. Very good place if you want real Chinese food with fair price.
